We love walking in the fells and the surrounding area also offers many interesting low level country side and beach walks

      There is great access to the fells of the Western Lake District from Seascale

Wasdale and Eskdale are nearby and if you cross Hardknott Pass you will reach the Langdale Valley  .The popular areas of Coniston, Keswick and Ambleside are also easy to get to for a days walking

 

 

We can recommend walking routes of all levels to you, and if you need it, help you with directions and maps etc

 

After a hard day in the fells you will be able to relax in our lovely corner bath and later enjoy a meal in the Calder House Hotel just across the road
